Baptism
Instruction class required for parents. Contact the parish office to schedule a date. Baptisms are scheduled at least 2 months in advance.
Confirmation
The Sacrament of Confirmation is available to all teens of the parish (9th grade and older) who have already received the Sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, and Eucharist
Marriage
Preparation classes are required, and either party or parents must be current members of this parish. Arrangements must be made at least 4 months in advance. Contact parish office to arrange for appointment; preparation classes, and setting of date.
Sick Calls and Emergencies
In case of an emergency, a priest can be paged by our automated phone system, any time of the day or night. The Sacrament of the Sick is available. Weekly Holy Communion visitations can be arranged for people who are unable to come to mass for a period of time.
Funeral Service and Reception
To arrange for a funeral to be held at St. Pius X Church contact the parish office. Either the Deacon or a Parish Priest will assist you. The St. Pius X Women's Club will serve a dessert and coffee reception at no charge, although donations are optional. The Women's Club will also serve a meal if family or friends provide the food. All other meals must be catered. A list of suggested caterers is available in the office. To arrange for a reception, contact Carol Petitt at (503) 645-2657 or Margaret Daniels at (503) 644-7544.
